Dr. Michael P. McClincy is an orthopedic surgeon, clinician-scientist, and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He serves as the head of the Adolescent and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where he specializes in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine, hip preservation, and the treatment of complex hip disorders. A graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. McClincy completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UPMC followed by fellowship training in pediatric sports medicine and pediatric and adolescent hip preservation at Boston Children's Hospital. His clinical practice and research focus on improving outcomes for young athletes and active patients through innovative, evidence-based approaches to hip preservation, sports injury care, and joint health.
