Rachel Goldstein, MD., MPH

Rachel Goldstein, MD, MPH is an attending surgeon in the Children’s Orthopedic Center at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopedics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.  Dr. Goldstein completed her residency at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases and is dual fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopedics from CHLA and Hip Preservation from Boston Children’s Hospital.  Her clinical interests include hip preservation, lower extremity deformity, and trauma.  Dr. Goldstein’s research interests include hip disorders of childhood, pediatric trauma and infection, and healthcare inequalities.  She has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and has written more than 10 book chapters.  She participates in three national multi-centered study groups and serves on the board of directors for all three of these organizations.  In addition, she has participated in several funded grants.  Dr. Goldstein has served on multiple national committees within specialty societies, including served the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Board of Directors as the Member at Large under 45 and the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America Board of Directors.  She has also been a traveling fellow through the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.  Outside the office, she's mom to two kids who are, without question, the cutest in the world.
