Michael Willey, MD

Michael Willey, MD

Dr. Michael Willey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Iowa. He specializes in treating young adult hip conditions and musculoskeletal trauma.  Dr. Willey earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and completed fellowship training in orthopedic trauma. His primary research focus is hip mechanics and the impact of surgical treatment on hip dysplasia and femoroacetabular impingement.
