Stephanie Mayer, MD

University of Colorado (Children's Hospital Colorado) Aurora, Colorado

Dr. Stephanie Mayer is a Colorado-based orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip preservation and the treatment of hip disorders in adolescents and adults. Her clinical focus includes the diagnosis and management of conditions such as femoroacetabular impingement, hip dysplasia, labral injuries, and early degenerative hip disease, with an emphasis on joint-preserving surgical techniques when appropriate. She provides both surgical and non-surgical treatment options tailored to active patients, aiming to restore mobility, reduce pain, and delay or prevent the need for joint replacement. In addition to her clinical practice, she is involved in advancing patient care through ongoing education and participation in developments in modern hip preservation and orthopedic sports medicine.
