Dr. Yi-Meng Yen is an orthopedic surgeon in Boston, Massachusetts, and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School, affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital. He specializes in pediatric and adolescent hip disorders, hip preservation surgery, and complex reconstructive procedures, with expertise in conditions such as femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), developmental dysplasia of the hip, slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE), and Perthes disease. Dr. Yen earned a bachelor’s degree in both economics and chemical engineering and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of California Los Angeles. He also earned his medical degree and a PhD in Biological Chemistry from UCLA. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at UCLA and completed a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail and another fellowship of pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital.
